Puro Hotel Oasis Urbano - Palma de Mallorca

The room was great with lots of tecky things. Dimming lights Internet on the large tv along with chill music albums connected to great sound system. Giant bed and a bath that was big enough for two to lie fully out side by side

Street noise outside but only to be expected in a central party city location

First of all: The location of the hotel is top, because there is no more central (200 meters from the cathedral). Also the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom with double washbasin is modern and practical (small drawback: no storage space in the shower).

Now the but: restaurant and bars were closed for reconstruction. This was not communicated at the time of booking. Breakfast is fine - but nothing more (instant scrambled eggs, cold boiled eggs, no fried eggs or omelette), small selection of fruit and cheese, instant juices. Toilet seat was loose, the permanently installed hair dryer did not work (replacement was brought to the room after complaint). We checked in because of an early flight at 8am and were asked to leave a mobile phone number to be informed when the room was ready. We asked for it at 1 pm but it was not ready yet. Came back from dinner at 3,30 pm. The room was prepared then but we had not been informed. Then why do you offer this service? Conclusion: Light, but also a lot of shadow. With more than 80 Euro per person and night too expensive.

Good location, nice house.

Unfortunately the service does not meet the high expectations. Despite of a clear booking and a renewed request for an email from the hotel before arrival, the room was not a two-bed room but a double room. The subsequent reconstruction was indeed done during the stay, but afterwards, the tiny room was so unhappily filled up that we continuously stumbled over the sharp-edged furniture. Alternative offers: none, apology/compensation: also none. The only explanation: "misunderstood". Also the further announced additional services were surprisingly only available for high additional costs - the entrance to the hotel's own Beach Club would have caused additional costs of 75 € (!) per person and day. also for the bicycle rental there are 30 € extra per person and day in the PuroHotel - bicycle rental costs everywhere else in Palma about 12 € per day, comparable hotels usually even offer their guests bicycles for free, Also the friendliness of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. All in all the impression is created that they are resting a bit too relaxed on the "cool" brand PURO, next time in Palma we will go there again where it is nice AND hospitable

It is a comfortable modern property located in Old Town district very close to the Cathedral and the future famous Abaco's cocktail bar, all the great restaurants and bars, as well as the local sights and several attractions. The breakfast options are amazing with decent coffee and local products. Top-class and exceptionally attentive staff provides a really great service...

Sun beds at pool were booked for the whole weekend by Friday night

The restaurant was closed when we arrived at the hotel as there was a wedding and was unable to get any room service, having arrived at 9.30pm we were quite hungry and was not told of this before we arrived. We felt that the hotel did not care about any of the guests paying quite a bit for the rooms, all they were interested in was the wedding party, among us we had spent a small fortune, booking 10 rooms for the weekend and felt a little pushed out. We were offered no compensation for areas closed or services closed.

Good hotel with amenities like reliable wi-fi, a fantastic restaurant, and a cute bar area. I fondly remember how the staff helped me with printing on my first stay. Highly recommend for a city trip!

The Puro Hotel is a beautiful, very minimalist, boutique type hotel in the best location you could want in Palma, minutes from bars and restaurants, tourist buses and the Cathedral. The service we received from the helpful staff was friendly, yet professional. The buffet breakfast had everything you could want, all very fresh and well prepared. The treatments in the Spa were of good quality, professionally carried out with good quality products. The therapist was well trained and made me feel very comfortable and pampered. The facilities in the room eg WiFi, Internet on the widescreen tv, iPod docking station , free unlimited up to date films were all good. We were also given an up grade to a junior suite.

Despite all the good things I had to say about the hotel, we would not stay there again unless it was given a complete redecoration and some refurbishment. From stepping through the front door ( in need of painting) it soon became apparent that the hotel was looking "tired" . The painted white floor in the restaurant was very chipped and stained. The tap in our en suite had once looked state of the art, but because of, I presume ,cleaning with a scourer, there was no longer any chrome on it. Although upgraded to a junior suite, I expected more from a junior suite and found it a disappointment. For the price of the hotel I would have expected more bathroom "freebies". I didn't take a shower cap or body lotion as I expected them to be provided - they weren't - only shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, tissues and cotton wool discs. The keyboard for the internet had 2 buttons broken and we couldn't get the iPod to play through the speakers, the speaker in the bathroom didn't work (although we didn't report these things at the time)

We were staying in Portals and decide to visit Palma for a couple of nights.We were so impressed that we stayed an extra night. A must is a visit to Puro Beach...........fabulous. Special mention to the Courtesy Bus Driver who was exceptional............................. A return visit is already being planned..............................

It's perfect for anyone who loves walking to nearby landmarks and parks.

The location is excellent, 5 minutes' walk to Sa Llotja. It's in a spotlessly clean building in the perfect area.

Close to the city centre and harbour with free transport to the beach club so this hotel is perfect for a short break. The hotel is relaxing and laid back with an excellent breakfast selection and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.This was our 3rd visit (for our honeymoon) and it was nice and quiet during the earlier part of the week. I think the outside areas might be ready for a little facelift now but it was still fabulous, chilling out on the roof terrace enjoying views of the city and harbour.

Charming Stay in Palma

Spent 4 nights in a lovely double room. The service was good and breakfast featured crispy bacon and fresh pastries. The rooftop area is perfect for sunbathing. Pro tip, arrive early for breakfast to secure seating! Great city center access made our evenings vibrant.

Fab rooms, great sound system, fab bar and the best location in Palma!
